Is DevOps still in demand in the US?

Yes, and the reason is boring in the best way. Most companies of any size now ship their product on cloud infrastructure, and once software lives in the cloud, somebody has to make it deploy reliably, scale under load, and stay observable when it misbehaves. That work does not go away when a hiring cycle cools — it is the plumbing the business runs on.

A few things worth saying out loud about that table. Others adjust to your location, so the same title pays differently in Denver than in a rural county. A smaller group still pays close to coastal rates for fully remote senior people because the talent is worth it to them. You cannot tell which policy applies from the outside, which is exactly why the number on the posting beats any rule of thumb.
